Wisconsin Public Health Research Network (WPHRN)
In 2013, IWHI assisted the Wisconsin Public Health Research Network with strategic planning and the development of a dedicated website. Nancy Young, IWHI Executive Director, is a member of the WPHRN Steering Committee and IWHI continues to develop ideas for targeted public health practice-based research to build off of the successful 2012 Quick Strike Research Fund project, Shared service arrangements among local and tribal health departments in Wisconsin.
The WPHRN was created in 2009-2011 through a start-up award from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. IWHI co-authored the start-up proposal and provided organizational support for the Network during its first two years.
