Created in 2006 as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, the Institute’s mission is to inspire Wisconsin’s business and policy leaders to adopt effective prevention strategies. 

We plan to accomplish this through three key functions:

Connecting key leaders interested in making Wisconsin healthier

Catalyzing action in an independent and highly focused fashion

Communicating the value of population-based prevention to leaders who can affect change
